President of the Jury is Javier Torres, Artistic Director of the Finnish National Ballet.

At the Helsinki International Ballet Competition, young talented dancers from around the world compete in both classical ballet and contemporary dance. The tenth Helsinki International Ballet Competition will be held at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet from May 28 to June 5, 2026.

The international jury selected 24 dancers to advance to the Finals of the Helsinki International Ballet Competition. The finals will take place on the Main Stage of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet on Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4.

The 10th Helsinki International Ballet Competition is currently taking place at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet from 28 May to 5 June 2026. During the First rounds held on 28–30 May, 76 dancers from 14 countries performed for the international jury. The jury selected 42 dancers to advance to the Second Round of the competition.

The Royal Ballet School: Inspire Seminar for ballet teachers will be held during the competition from May 31 to June 5, 2026. The seminar can be attended either as individual days or as an intensive course.
