The<\/span> Helsinki<\/span> International<\/span> Ballet<\/span> Competition<\/span> (<\/span>HIBC<\/span>)<\/span> is<\/span> one of the most<\/span> important classical<\/span> ballet<\/span> events<\/span> in Finland. It has be<\/span>en held<\/span> regularly<\/span> every 4<\/span>\u2013<\/span>5<\/span> years<\/span> since<\/span> 1984<\/span>,<\/span> and<\/span> is<\/span> one<\/span> of<\/span> the few<\/span> international<\/span> dance<\/span> events<\/span> in<\/span> Finland<\/span>.<\/span>
\nSince<\/span> 2001<\/span>, the competitions<\/span> have<\/span> been organised<\/span> by<\/span> the Helsinki<\/span> International<\/span> Ballet<\/span> Competition<\/span> Association<\/span>.<\/span>
\nThe<\/span> purpose<\/span> of<\/span> the association is<\/span> to<\/span> promote<\/span>\u00a0classical<\/span> ballet<\/span> and<\/span> contemporary<\/span> dance<\/span> in<\/span> Finland<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span> to<\/span> expand the<\/span> audience<\/span> for\u00a0dance<\/span> art<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAs a member, you get to influence the association’s activities.
\nyou will receive information about the association’s activities and events, you will have the opportunity to participate in lectures and discussion events organized by the association, an invitation to the annual meeting and a performance by the Finnish National Ballet at the same evening.
\nWhen ticket sales start in autumn 2025, we will provide more information about possible other member benefits.
\nThe membership fee is currently 30\u20ac\/year.<\/p>\n
