The main grounds for processing personal data are customer relationship management (marketing and\u00a0 <\/span>communication) and maintenance of sponsor, volunteer and competitor registers. The data processing is based on consent given by the registered or on a personal notification given when a person subscribes to a newsletter or registers as a sponsor (Data Protection Regulation, section 6, paragraf 1a). The data processing is based on a contractual relation when a person registers as a volunteer or competitor (Data Protection Regulation, section 6, paragraf 1b.)<\/p>\n

Registered data<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

First name, last name, postal address, email, address; in the case of volunteers and competitors, registration information provided to the Helsinki International Ballet Competition organisation such as contact information, date of birth, work experience and ballet competition experience. <\/b><\/p>\n

Used data sources<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

Customer information is collected when a person subscribes to a newsletter or registers as a sponsor, volunteer or competitor.<\/p>\n

We do not disclose registered personal data to third parties. <\/b><\/p>\n

Only authorised representatives of the Association have access rights to the registered data in order to perform their work assignments. <\/b><\/p>\n

Right to verify personal data<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

All registered persons have a right to verify their personal data stored in the register. Informal data verification request may be sent by email to info@ibchelsinki.fi. <\/b><\/p>\n

Right to request rectification<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

All registered persons have a right to request rectification of incorrect personal data stored in the register. An informal data rectification request may be sent by email to info@ibchelsinki.fi<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other rights related to personal data processing<\/b><\/p>\n

The registered has a right to forbid the use of his\/her personal data for direct advertising, distance sales and other direct marketing as well as marketing surveys and opinion research purposes.<\/p>\n

Data retention <\/b><\/p>\n

If a newsletter recipient wishes to cancel the subscription, a sponsor wishes to resign or a volunteer or competitor wishes to cancel his\/her registration, personal data is deleted from the register and no data is stored in external databases either.<\/p>\n

We will retain your personal data in accordance of applicable legislation and only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy. We will delete your personal data once the data processing grounds are no longer valid.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n
